Bayview Beach Resort Penang hotel, is located on the beachfront on the North-West coast of Penang Island. The resort overlooks the tranquil and scenic bay of the "Foreigner's Rock" (Batu Ferringhi) It is 18 km from Georgetown and 33 km from Penang International Airport.

** Important Notice **

Bayview Beach Resort, Penang will be carrying out renovation work at the below mentioned areas:

SUPERIOR & FAMILY TYPE ROOMS (Phase 1) - The renovation work will start from 1st May 2013 for about 5 weeks. Renovation area will be on all guest floors in the small atrium. (Phase 2 will commence in the month of July for 5 weeks, we will confirm the dates via email by end of this week)

The construction noise (hacking or heavy drilling) may be heard for 12 days around 10am to 6 pm from 1st May 2013. Renovation area will be sealed so there will be no dust or debris affecting any guests.

• Work Schedule: Daily 10am to 6pm from 1st May 2013 for maximum of 35 days.
• Level of noise: Loud from 1st May to 12th May 2013 (12 days arising from removing old wall tiles and marble vanity top inside the bath room). Intermittent low level after that.
  
• Location: All guest floors in the smaller atrium fully cordoned off. All other guest services and facilities are unaffected.
  
• Room Assignment: During the first 12 days, we will allocate most guest as far away as possible from the work zone so that there will be minimal disturbance during the day.

GUEST WASHROOMS at the lobby - The renovation work will start from 1st May 2013 for about 4 weeks. Both male and female washrooms located on the lobby level (1st floor) will be done simultaneously however alternative washrooms are available on the ground level for public usage.

The construction noise (hacking or heavy drilling) may be heard for 4 days only around 10am to 6 pm from 1st May 2013. Renovation area will be sealed so there will be no dust or debris affecting any guests.

• Work Schedule: Daily 10am to 6pm from 1st May2013 for maximum of 28 days.
• Level of noise: Loud from 1st May 4th May 2013 (4 days arising from removing old wall & floor tiles). Intermittent low level after that.
  
• Location: Lobby Level 2  washrooms (male & female) fully cordoned off. All other guest services and facilties are unaffected.
  
• Room Assignment: Guest rooms start from the 2nd floor. During the first 5 days, we will allocate most guest to the higher floors so that there will be minimal disturbance during the day.

During this period, we will be offering special promotions and discounts at our pool bar area. Please take note that no facilities throughout the hotel will be closed. Everything will be running as per normal and we will do our best to ensure disturbances are kept as minimal as possible during the renovation.
