They bought this property (originally a Chinese merchants private residence dating back to 1846) as a wreck and took 2 years to restore it into their full time family home. Now restored to its original form, 2 suites are offered as personal owner hosted home-stays. Feel the history of this house and experience living in a heritage home. These suites are best suited to guests who have never been to George Town or Penang and would like to experience the heritage city through Rebecca Wilkinson's eyes, as she introduces you to favourite stalls and restaurants, favourite shops, thieves markets, wet markets, traditional stores and other sites that she loves.
